The combination of group lessons and one on one lessons is perfect. Our son looks forward to lessons and practicing and has made incredible strides.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My sons are taking violin and cello with Canta Arya. I highly recommend Canta Arya. The teachers are excellent and make learning fun. While it definitely is a commitment (practising daily, one lesson a week and a group class a week), for us it is so worth it. My son's are not only able to play their instruments well, a skill they will have for life, they have also developed other important qualities like dedication, persistence, flexibility, team work, and confidence in presenting/performing in front of others. In addition, learning these instruments has really strengthened their cognitive skills, including memory, pattern recognition, and problem-solving and has helped them succeed academically as well.

I absolutely love helping out the younger kids during group class. It makes me happy to see them enjoying playing the violin as much as I do. I love seeing them smile and showing the little ones that they can just play on the E string. After being online for 2 years, it was really nice to be around the smaller kids! It just makes me happy to be a part of the school.

My friends from Canta Arya were my friends from the very beginning. Though I didn’t always get to spend time with them outside of the ensembles, thanks to years of playing music together I felt a profound connection with them that I had found with no other group of people when I was growing up.
